Can you see who reacted on Slack?

In Slack, you can see who reacted to a message with emojis.

This feature helps you understand who has acknowledged or responded to a message without sending a separate reply.

Here's how you can see who reacted:

  1. Open the message: First, go to the channel or direct message where the original message is located. Find the message that has reactions.

  2. View reactions: Below the message, you will see the emojis that have been used as reactions. Each emoji will have a small number next to it, indicating how many people have used that reaction.

  3. See who reacted: Hover your mouse over the emoji reaction. A small pop-up will appear, showing the names or profile pictures of the people who reacted with that emoji. On mobile devices, you can tap on the emoji to see the list of people.

  4. Multiple reactions: If there are multiple reactions, you can hover over or tap each one to see the different groups of people who used each emoji.

This feature is useful for quickly gauging the response to a message, such as seeing who agrees with an idea or who has seen an important announcement.

It helps keep communication efficient by reducing the need for additional messages just to acknowledge receipt or agreement.
